Boston pianos are high quality instruments designed by Steinway & Sons and built to very high standards by Kawai. Being at the top end of the market not many used Boston uprights come up for sale. They have a rich and warm but clear tone across all registers with excellent sustain and a singing quality of great beauty.
Overall, this instrument is very satisfying to play as you would expect from a piano designed by Steinway. It is in a lovely high polished mahogany case and comes with a smart matching Boston stool.
It was bought new by its current owner in 1997 and is in pristine condition not having had a lot of use. The serial number is 114314
